Another celebration

Our sea turtles turned 2 years few days ago and of course we made a small celebration for them.

The bakery at Coco Beach made a nice cake for our turtles and in the afternoon it was served for them (only 1 of the turtles went for the cake and had cream all over the face).

After having a meeting with DENR (Department of Environment and Natural Resources) we have agreed to keep the turtles until they are 2½ years old and then tack them and release them into the ocean. In that way we have a very good chance that the turtles will stay in this area and not only swim away. This will give us a good chance to keep on studying the turtles and it will also benefit all divers and snorkelers.

So you better already book your stay now, if you want to be witness to our release of the turtles on October 14.
